The Experimental Animal Facility is housed in a dedicated, state-of-the-art building spanning over 10,000 sq. ft across two floors. The first floor is specifically designed for rodents and rabbits, with controlled environmental conditions—including temperature, humidity, air pressure, and light-dark cycles—maintained in compliance with regulatory requirements through an advanced HVAC system.
The ground floor primarily accommodates essential service areas, including dehusking, washing, autoclaving, and storage for animal feed and bedding materials. It also features a designated procedure room for infectious studies (BSL-2) and quarantine rooms for rodents and rabbits.
